Building beautiful spaces in the world’s most stunning places is what we do. We loved building a two-story custom estate in The Knoll – an exclusive community tucked away in the hillside heart of Santa Barbara. See what we’re talking about.
Unwind in the vines. Sounds pretty good, right? At Gran Cielo (Big Sky) de Vina Robles you can live big with the best of both worlds—peaceful vineyard living away from it all and everywhere you want to be. Now for what you need to know:
1. Located in the heart of Paso Robles wine county, Gran Cielo offers 42 custom home sites on 800 acres of protected vineyard property.
2. The Robbins|Reed Custom Homes team serves as the preferred builder of the project and we’re proud of it.
3. Construction on two incredible custom homes is underway now. You’ll want to scope out the spacious design of the Tuscan Villa with a Vineyard View (link) and the Farmhouse with a Contemporary Twist (link). From one-of-a-kind outdoor living spaces to the stunning scenic vistas, there’s a whole lot to love about living at Gran Cielo.

At Robbins|Reed we don’t generally need an excuse to have a good time – but St. Patrick’s Day sure is one. This year the team pressed our luck at Shawn’s house in San Luis Obispo, enjoying a corned beef and cabbage feast, and celebrating with a winning combination of whiskey and competitive cornhole. Over the years this shindig has become something of a tradition for us to thank and cheers the people who make our groundbreaking projects possible. To all our friends, family, vendors, and clients – we’re lucky to know you.
Our very own community building expert Aaryn Abbot is speaking at the upcoming San Luis Obispo Housing Summit. Learn what community topics the breakout panels will discuss and how you can sign up to attend on our Robbins|Reed Communities blog.
Here at Robbins|Reed we’re excited to be working on a brand spankin’ new project in the heart of Paso Robles wine country, Cava Robles. We’re building a sophisticated RV resort everyone can enjoy, from couples looking for peace and relaxation to families all about adventure.
Resolutions are overrated. Our resolve to build better is nothing new and we stand by it year after year. We’re proud of what our Robbins|Reed Builders team accomplished last year with the opening of two big projects near and dear (and beer) to us—SLO Brew Restaurant and SLO Brew Lofts.
Each year we find an opportunity to take off our hard hats and do our part to build awareness of men’s and women’s health issues. This year, in support of the American Cancer Society, we are participating in the Making Strides Walk of San Luis Obispo, and we invite you to join us!
We are also selling commemorative Robbins|Reed t-shirts for $10 to honor the event and promote Breast Cancer Awareness. Women’s and men’s sizes will be available. All proceeds from t-shirt sales will be donated directly to the American Cancer Society.
We hope to see you out there!

In 2010, Vic and Carol Ascrizzi brought us in to update the exterior of their early ’80s home at Varian Ranch in Arroyo Grande. The result was a sophisticated, yet inviting Tuscan Villa-style remodel, perfect for entertaining and relaxing alike. Pick up the October/November issue of SLO Life Magazine to read more about the project!
